Q & A Interior
We hire competent college students to perform the cleaning. We seek students that have a GPA of 3.3 or B+. This is because these students tend to be trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented and dependable.
If your cleaning is 5 hours or less, we will schedule you with one student cleaner. If your cleaning is more than 5 hours, we will schedule you with two student cleaners. Often, the first cleaning takes longer than subsequent cleanings; sometimes two cleaners are sent the first time round and one cleaner thereafter.
For clients that opt for routine service, it is our goal to send the same student cleaner(s) each time. Note that due to changes in employee scheduling each semester, you may have to change the date/time of the cleaning in order to receive the same cleaner(s).
Yes. We provide our own cleaning products but will happily use any specific product you have and would like us to use on a particular surface.
Yes. All the cleaning products we use contain natural ingredients without toxic residues or overwhelming odours and are biodegradable, contain no phosphates, and are dermatologist tested. In fact, our cleaning products provider received an award from the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) for environmental stewardship.
Payment for house cleaning is made on the date of the cleaning and can be made by cash, cheque or any major credit card (by phoning our office). Your invoice will be emailed to you. If you choose to get recurring service, then we will bill you on a predetermined schedule (usually the date of the cleaning). Sorry, but for now, credit cards are not accepted for exterior seasonal services.
Q & A Exterior
Yes, we carry full liability insurance and all our employees are covered by workers compensation. We also perform background checks on all employees and thoroughly train them with the Student Suds system for every cleaning process. Your complete satisfaction and worry-free service is backed up by our superior customer communications from the moment you call for a free estimate to after completion of the job.
Yes, that’s why Student Suds employees are trained on the appropriate pressure, tools, and technique for each surface. It is very important that the correct spray nozzle and pressure are used. Also, any chemicals we use are biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
No, we use ladder stabilizers that rest on your roof when doing eaves and have rubber padding for protection when on siding.
Windows are washed by getting right up close and personal. After all, you can’t clean what you can’t see! We use a super absorbent microfiber shammy soaked in our special solution, followed by a high grade rubber squeegee rinse. Care is taken to wipe the edges and the window sill. Clients rave about our ability to get windows their cleanest and streak free!
Depending on the steepness of your roof, we either do them via roof top or from our ladders. We scoop out large debris by hand, followed by a low-pressure, high flow rinse.
We check to see if downspouts are flowing properly and guarantee that they do. Sometimes they need a simple flush, while other times a segment of the downspout (usually at the top elbow joint) needs to be removed and emptied when the clogs are more compact.
Payment is made upon completion of the job and can be made by cash or cheque. If you are not home at the time of the service, we will leave a self addressed pre-stamped envelope for you to easily mail your payment. Sorry, but for now, credit cards are not accepted for exterior seasonal services.
