Student Suds is a high quality yet affordable residential cleaning company. To homeowners, we offer seasonal pressure washing, window cleaning, and eavestrough cleaning services, in addition to year round housekeeping service in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, and surrounding areas. To college students, we offer seasonal full-time and flexible part-time work. We recognize that the success of Student Suds is based on a solid reputation, which allows us to gain and retain the loyalty of our customers and student employees.

Student Suds was founded in 2006 by Jason Ewart while attending the University of Alberta. Jason’s entrepreneurial exploits started before the age of 12. Ever eager, he provided yard maintenance services to as many neighbours as he could service. Even as a kid, Jason took responsibility very seriously and quickly learned the business basics behind marketing, communication, and negotiation. Above all, he learned to fully satisfy the expectations of clients.

In his years at university, Jason decided to tackle the summer job market in his own way, as franchisee with a national student painting company. Jason won multiple awards for performance in marketing, sales, production, and customer satisfaction, including Rookie Manager of the Year and National Manager of the Year.

After two successful summers, Jason saw that there was much room for improvement in the quality of summer student work. He set out to create a simple system to help students gain valuable business experience without the risks, complications, or large capital requirements of starting a business from scratch. In the summer of 2006, Student Suds was born. Student Suds focuses on three key areas: providing exceptional cleaning services at reasonable prices, creating rewarding jobs for hard working students, and refining its systems and processes to build a lasting brand in an industry where it was once lacking.

2011 sees our first major expansion. We’ve cleaned the outsides of more than 2,000 different Edmonton homes. Now, we’re moving in. Student Suds is proud to introduce “Student Suds Housekeeping”. Our professional, reliable, and affordable cleaning services are now available for the inside of your home. We’ve worked out the kinks and we’re looking forward to the continued growth of Student Suds Housekeeping this season.
